The meetings are held within the framework of Fitur, which opens next Wednesday
Madrid, Spain.- The general administrator of the Reserve Bank, Samuel Pereyra, began this Monday an extensive schedule of meetings with executives of important investment groups, as part of the activities prior to the Fitur 2021 International Tourism Fair, which will be held from 19 to 23 of this month in the Spanish capital.
This Monday Pereyra held a meeting with Enrique Martinón, president of the Martinón Group and Fernando Arencibia, executive of this Spanish company, which has more than 40 years of experience in the areas of design, construction and hotel management in Spain and Latin America.
Pereyra also met with Roberto Chapur, president of the RCD Hotels group, which has a strong presence in tourism businesses, especially in the hotel sector, since 1985.
RCD Hotels is a leading hotel sales and marketing company, with more than 9,000 employees and more than 6,000 rooms in 8 destinations distributed in the United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
For this Tuesday the general administrator of Banreservas is scheduled to meet with other important executives from different branches of tourism.
The purpose of these meetings, which is held separately with each business group, is to attract investments in various areas of the sector, with the interest of reactivating the Dominican economy, especially tourism, the main generator of foreign exchange in the country.
