BAVARO-PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. – The Association of Tour Operators Receptives- Asoture- congratulated the Ministry of Tourism for the success achieved at the FITUR 2020 fair, held in Madrid, Spain.
The receptive tour operators participated as an association in the Dominican flag, and reported that important agreements were reached that will strengthen the destiny of Punta Cana as the number one in the Caribbean area.
The president of Asoture, Manuel Muñoz, and the executive director of the guild, Carmen Santos, pondered the effort made by the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier García, so that in each of these fairs the Dominican Republic stands out, new investments are generated and the arrival of tourists is increased.
“It is important to have a Dominican pavilion with an attractive structure, which also presents our folklore, culture and crafts. To this we add the correct presentation of our beaches, all-inclusive hotel offers, city, mountain and complementary offer, ”said Santos.
He explained that Asoture will maintain its customary presence in these scenarios, after noting that they constitute one of the main exposures to the issuing countries and the most important tour operators in the world.
Santos reported that the association brings together 34 member companies, which among all have a workforce of around three thousand employees. Also as receptive tour operators we move an average of 5 million tourists a year. ///
