ATP transfers the facilities of the Panama Convention Center to SMG Latin America


The ATP General Administrator yesterday made the formal transfer of the complex to the US company that will be in charge of promotion and marketing

The general administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, carried out, this Thursday, the formal transfer of the occupation of the Panama Convention Center (PCC) building to the American company SMG Latin America LLC, to which he handed over the keys and the certificate of substantial receipt of the work, which indicates that the infrastructure has reached the level of physical execution suitable for its use.

The guests at the protocol ceremony were received by young people who wore the representative attire of the Gunas. Representatives of the National Government, presidents of tourist associations, directors of the National Tourism Council (CNT), the Tourism Promotion Fund (PROMTUR), the National Chamber of Tourism (CAMTUR), the Panamanian Association of Hotels (APATEL) attended. ), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), among others, the Panama Convention Center offers a privileged location and an unbeatable value for your next event with more than 33,500 m2 of sophisticated space for meetings and state-of-the-art conventions allowing you to attract important national and international events, which will help reactivate the economy of the country affected by the global pandemic.
