Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts rewards and recognizes tour operators

The event was attended by 12 managers from the tourism industry who continue to promote the Spanish chain

With a great atmosphere of celebration, directors and collaborators of Bahia Principe Grand Tulum received this week at their facilities the Mexican tour operators who carried out great promotional work for the Mexican Caribbean last year.

At seven o’clock in the evening they gathered in the vicinity of the beach of Bahia Principe Grand Tulum as the perfect setting for the award ceremony cocktail with music, body painting, a large selection of international drinks and cocktails, as well as a wide variety of Caribbean canapés.

The welcoming remarks were given by Malena Omoldi, LATAM and Mexico Commercial Director, and María Fernanda Niño Belmont, Mexico Commercial Manager for Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, who thanked all the attendees for their presence at this event, held every year and that for reasons of the pandemic had to be postponed and that today has been resumed with great joy. They congratulated all those present for the great work of promotion and support to spread this magnificent destination.

We have been working together to offer the Mexican market an attractive product and, as always, a high quality service”, commented Lluisa Salord SVP Global Sales, Contracting & Distribution

The event continued with a video projected on a mega screen, with an emotional message sent for this special occasion by Encarna Piñero, CEO of Grupo Piñero, who sent a warm greeting to thank the support received during all these years. “It is an honor for us to receive you as special guests, acknowledging the effort and support of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts during the pandemic period, making it possible to come out of this critical moment highly motivated and eager to move forward,” said the CEO.

The award ceremony began for Mexican agencies and tour operators that during 2019 vs. 2021, the market increased by 63%. Among the winners were: Azabache, Record Vacation, OLR Mayorista, TH Operadora, Aqua Travel, Neustart, Euromundo, Hostech, GTM Operadora, Royal Mayorista, among others.

The splendid evening ended with a karaoke where all the participants had fun and celebrated another year of great achievements.
