Dominican Republic conducts training for the German market


In cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Karibik (AGK), the Tourism Promotion Office (OPT) in Germany holds five webinars from September 1 to 17 on the theme “Dominican Republic has it all”.

Petra Cruz, Director of OPT Alemania, as well as partners from the hotel industry provide information on current events, news and highlights of the Caribbean vacation destination.

The first seminar held on September 1 was attended by the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas and Impressive Resorts & Spas partners, and on Thursday the 3rd with Meliá Hotels International and Be Live Hotels.

While on the 8th of the currents, it was held with the collaboration of AMResorts and Palladium Hotel Group and on the 10th with the partners Punta Cana Resort & Club and Majestic Resorts and for September 17 the intervention of Barceló Hotel Group and Club is expected Med.

“These webinars are aimed not only at those who want to know the number one destination in the Caribbean, but also to travel virtually remotely,” said Petra Cruz.

The director of OPT Alemania expressed that this is a way to learn the most important facts and figures about the Dominican Republic and for partners to provide their clients with the best possible advice as soon as the great journey begins again.

“During the seminars the Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan is presented, which was recently approved by the Tourism Cabinet chaired by the President of the Republic Luis Abinader and the Minister of Tourism David Collado, who serves as Executive Director,” said Cruz.
