Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be present at the most important travel event dedicated to the tourist trade, the Florida Huddle, which this year takes place virtually between February 8 and 12, 2021. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will have an important participation with the presentation of the astronaut Don Thomas, who spent 44 days in space and orbited the Earth 692 times in his 4 trips to space. He will tell the stories from when he was aboard the Discovery spacecraft and talk about the future of exploring the universe.
Representing the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex this year will be Mr. Tommie Wright, Senior Director of Sales; Víctor Manjarres, President of TM Latin America, marketing agency for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Juanita Ariza, Vice President of TM Latin America, and the regional sales managers, Alejandro Buitrago for the Andean region; Paula Echevarría for the Southern Cone and Diana Díaz De León for Mexico.
Florida Huddle brings together tour operators from the United States and attracts thousands of regional and international agents. In this year’s virtual edition, there will be other reserved and pre-scheduled business meetings between the participants.
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will take the opportunity to display not only the Trusted Space biosafety protocols that were implemented at the Complex, but also new attractions, such as the newly opened Planet Play, a space-themed area for young children; as well as the arrival of the Delta II rocket to the Garden of the Rockets.
Programming also includes educational sessions, master classes, and virtual family tours.
Registration to participate in the event remains open to travel agents. The date reserved for Latin American companies and professionals is February 10, 2021.
