KLM receives APEX World Class 2022 award


The Airline Passenger Experience Association has recognized the airline in for the travel experience it offers to passengers.

The last 20 months have created new values ​​that are clearly important to airline customers. The importance of well-being, health, and safety in the passenger travel experience increased considerably, as did the importance of responsible travel. With the World Class award, the APEX (the Airline Passenger Experience Association) assesses airlines, in relation to new benchmarks in the passenger travel experience, using more extensive and intensive data audits. In addition to safety, well-being and sustainability, there are also high standards for service, comfort, food served on board, and performance.

APEX audits passenger experience with airlines. The association has developed a recognized research and evaluation organization in this field. The World Class award is presented for the first time this year, and seven airlines are recognized: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Emirates, Saudia, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines.
