TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel platform, has once again recognized NH Hotel Group for the excellence of its hotels through the Travelers’ Choice Awards, which it presented to 249 hotels in the chain.

Such recognition is great news, especially at a time like the present, and a huge boost for our establishments ”, said Javier Mármol, Vice President of Experience and Quality at NH Hotel Group.

By brands, globally, 76% of NH Collection hotels, the Group’s upper upscale brand, 66% of NH Hotels properties and 50% of nhow, the most chameleonic and disruptive of all, have been recognized. On the other hand, of the hotels that the Company integrated in Europe of the Minor Hotels group have also been awarded: all the establishments of the Anantara brand in Europe, 81% of the Tivoli Hotels and the hotel of the Avani brand that NH Hotel operates Group in Portugal. In terms of locations, most of the award-winning hotels are in southern Europe with 129 hotels, followed by northern Europe with 74, and America with 42 hotels. Spain is the country with the most recognition, with 81 award-winning hotels. In addition, 8 of these properties (1 Anantara, 4 NH Collection and 3 NH Hotels) have been awarded the Best of the Best, the highest recognition given by the platform and in which only 1% of the hotels present have room in the same.
Winners are decided based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers around the world collected over a period of one year. The awards take into account both the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and the specific ratings for each award category. Thanks to this seal, NH Hotel Group establishments belong to a select group of 10% of all businesses that are registered on the platform.
In Latin America, the Company achieved recognition in 43 hotels.
In Argentina, 12 NH Hotel Group properties obtained this award, which recognizes hotel establishments that provide excellent service and obtain better reviews from users: NH Collection Centro Histórico, NH Collection Jousten, NH Collection Lancaster, NH Crillon , NH 9 de Julio, NH City, NH Florida, NH Latino and NH Tango (from Buenos Aires); NH Urbano, from Córdoba; NH Gran Hotel Provincial, in Mar del Plata; and NH Edelweiss, from Bariloche.
In Colombia, 10 hotels of the Group received the award, including NH Collection Bogotá Teleport Royal, NH Collection Bogotá WTTC Royal in Bogotá, NH Collection Medellín Royal and NH Collection Barranquilla Smartsuites Royal. In Mexico, there were 13 properties of the Group with recognition, among them the emblematic NH Collection México City Centro Histórico, NH Collection Mexico City Reforma, NH Puebla Centro Histórico de México and NH Collection Guadalajara Providencia in Mexico. In Chile, 4 properties of the Company were awarded: NH Collection Plaza Santiago, NH Ciudad de Santiago, NH Antofagasta and NH Iquique in Chile.
At a global level, they are among those who received the recognition: Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Marbella, NH Collection Valencia Colón, or NH Collection Gran Hotel Calderón in Barcelona. In Portugal, some of the winners have been Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort or Tivoli Palácio de Seteais. Other recognized hotels have been the NH Venezia Rio Novo or the NH Collection Roma Centro in Italy; NH Collection Munich Bavaria and nhow Berlin in Germany; NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and the NH Collection Doelen hotel in Amsterdam.
