ScootersDR was awarded with the “Excelencias Turísticas 2018” award, for obtaining the greatest potential in the growth of inclusive tourism in favor of vulnerable segments.
The recognition was granted by the president of the Excelencias Group, Mr. José Carlos de Santiago, within the celebration of the Tourism Fair 2019 (FITUR) of Madrid, Spain.
In the XIV edition of these awards were recognized a total of 36 projects in the modalities of “Excelencias Turísticas” and “Excelencias Gourmet”, as well as the special prizes, each of them related to the tourism sector.
These projects were represented by 13 countries, including: Spain, the United States, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, El Salvador, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, where the winners were chosen by a jury of nine personalities from different nations.

The executive said that this award motivates the ScootersDR team to continue providing an efficient and quality service to its clients. “Tourism has to offer possibilities for all and in the face of this reality we promote social inclusion by working hard to ensure that accessibility in tourism services is ever more present,” he said.
The Excelencias Awards were created in 2005 with the aim of promoting perfection in different areas linked to tourism and have since become a reference for those involved in this important sector.
