SeaWorld Florida parks are 100% operational and present new features

SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay operate with no visitation restrictions and reservations are not required on the day of visit

All the parks have new features so that visitors can enjoy even more of the extended hours during the summer. SeaWorld Orlando opened Ice Breaker, with the most vertical drop in Florida; Iron Gwzi, the tallest hybrid coaster in North America and the fastest and steepest in the world, is now open at Busch Gardens Tampa; and, to cool off, the best option is the new Reef Plunge, by Aquatica Orlando, a water slide that has part of its route in a transparent tube inside a marine habitat.

“We opened amazing attractions this year to give our visitors even more excitement. We are also pleased to offer excellent entertainment throughout the season that will provide a different experience each visit,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

After-sunset entertainment
To celebrate summer, both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa have put together a special lineup featuring lots of music, fireworks shows and live entertainment.

During Electric Ocean, which takes place at SeaWorld Orlando on select nights through September 5, guests are immersed in an exotic world filled with lights, musical shows, special dining options and nighttime attractions. The party atmosphere takes over, with DJs and cheerful undersea characters dancing alongside families. The night ends with the Ignite 360 show, which mixes fireworks with lights and water fountains.

Through August 7, Busch Gardens Tampa’s new Summer Celebration is guaranteed to be fun for all ages from sunrise to sunset. Visitors can enjoy the award-winning Turn it Up! ice skating show; the Cirque Electric acrobatic show; the new Gwazi Beats, which mix the sound of drums with dancers and stilt walkers; and, in addition, to close the night with a flourish with the fireworks show that takes place on weekends. In addition, the extreme attractions loved by visitors will also be open late.

Free beer
There’s nothing better than cooling down during the Florida summer with a cold beer. Both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa will offer two complimentary beers to visitors 21 and older. Through August 4, the drink will be available at SeaWorld Orlando’s Waterway Grill Bar and through August 7 at Pantopia Drinks & Snacks at Busch Gardens Tampa.
