Tapestry Collection by Hilton today announces the opening of MM Grand Hotel Puebla, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the brand’s first hotel in Latin America and the Caribbean. Owned by Operadora TIM and managed by Magusa Turística, the 93-room hotel will feature a lush garden and terrace, as well as an authentic Mexican restaurant and bar.
“With the arrival of the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand hotel in the Latin American region, we recognize the demand for innovative and exceptional experiences for guests, demand that the brand will cover impeccably,” said Juan Corvinos, Vice President of Development from Hilton to the Caribbean and Latin America. “With the incorporation of MM Grand Hotel Puebla and four more projects under development for the region, we opened our doors for travelers to visit the fourth most important city in Mexico  and experience its famous cuisine, colonial architecture and the dynamism of its culture”.
Located in a natural wooded area, the hacienda-style hotel presents a colonial architecture with decorative elements typical of Mexican culture; such as talavera, typical and unique ceramics, or pale pink tones in its architecture. With the background nature and located in the city center, the hotel is the only property in the area that receives pets. The rooms feature exclusive pillows and bedding, 42-inch HDTVs, and a workstation. For meetings and events, the boutique property offers three meeting spaces of more than 1,200 square meters, including a room with capacity for 350 people in auditorium-type assembly.
Travelers can choose from a variety of dining options, including Casa Plata Restaurant, a Mexican restaurant influenced by French, Spanish and Latin American cuisine. The restaurant also features works of art by renowned national artists, such as Manuel de Cisneros, Alejandro Tehutli and Blue Demon Jr. After dinner, guests can enjoy a cocktail at the contemporary-style Channels bar, which offers a variety of mezcal-based cocktails.
Located in one of the most important areas in Puebla, near the best shops, restaurants and entertainment venues in the city, MM Grand Hotel Puebla is also located in a reference point with easy access to the Hermanos Serdán International Airport, which is located only 30 minutes Guests can visit local attractions, such as the International Baroque Museum, the Metropolitan Auditorium, the Amparo Museum, the Puebla Cathedral, and the Historic Center, to immerse themselves in the city’s rich history and culture. Guests can also visit the Estrella de Puebla; a ferris wheel that offers stunning views of the city and the Africam Safari park.
