The 2019 edition of WTM Latin America is already in production. Scheduled to take place from April 2 to 4, 2019 at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, the event organizer announces the opening of registrations for the Hosted Buyers Program – International Buyers Program.

The goal of the Hosted Buyers Program is to select 60 potential buyers -60% from other Latin American countries and 40% from the rest of the world- to sign commercial agreements with all WTM Latin America exhibitors. This program does not include Brazilian buyers, and has representatives from the Leisure, Corporate and MICE tourism segments (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions).

All registered buyers are analyzed to verify criteria such as their interest in Latin American products and other continents, the purchasing decision power, the size and representativeness of the company in their country (annual turnover), the potential of the current market for business and investments, and other aspects.

The professionals of the program will enjoy various advantages, such as: contribution for their air tickets, accommodation and local transportation; a personalized appointment calendar with exhibitors appropriate to your purchase profile; exclusive opportunities for formal and informal networking; participation in Speed Networking sessions and access to an exclusive lounge.

In 2018, the International Buyers Program brought together more than 60 professionals from 5 continents and 23 countries. The buyers of that edition also participated to a large extent in two sessions of Speed Networking, which brought together more than 500 exhibitors eager to meet the hosted buyers.

“Our customers and exhibitors look forward to meeting the hosted buyers we bring every year. This program has exceeded its expectations since 2013 because we work hard to attract qualified buyers that provide effective results. We have excellent know-how in regard to programs of this type due to our global team and the shared experience with our sister fairs, such as the IBTM and ILTM portfolio. In addition, we adapt the program to the local market to provide all the participants with the best possible experience, “concludes Thais Del Ben, marketing manager of WTM Latin America.
